How to make sure the auto aircon is always working properly
Sometimes, there could be something thing go wrong on your vehicle, which may cause everything to go wrong. That’s why it’s better to be safe than sorry. It is of importance to check your cooling system as it can cause your vehicle to overheat, leak or smell. If you neglect the cooling system, engine failure can occur.
First, check the cooling system by checking the coolant level every so often – but remember to never open a hot radiator cap. If the coolant is low, ad a 1:2 ratio of anti-freeze and water to the system. You can have a view of the coolant level by checking the sight glass on the pipeline of the air conditioning system.
Second, To keep the cooling system healthy, you need to do regular checks on all the belts, hoses and radiators. Make sure there are no leaks in the system where coolant could leak. Maybe it is not so easy to find the leakage, but when you pay attention on the pressure of the AC system, you should what has been changed on the coolant and if there is a leakage.
Third, always keep an eye on the temperature gauge. If the vehicle heats up to more than half the temperature – there could be an issue and it should be seen to as soon as possible. It is easy to to noticed, but you are hoped to deal with it quick to avoid some real damage.
