Corunclima’s ambulance air conditioning systems are supporting Peru’s efforts to strengthen emergency medical transportation and pre-hospital healthcare services, helping provide a more comfortable and reliable environment for patients and medical personnel during emergency transport.
The project is part of a major initiative led by the Peruvian Ministry of Health in cooperation with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to strengthen emergency healthcare services across the country. The project covers more than 200 ambulances for urban and rural areas across 16 regions of Peru. In March 2026, the first 28 urban ambulances were officially handed over to Peru’s Ministry of Health, marking an important milestone in the project.
