Mr. Sebastián, our partner in Mesoamerica got another all-electric transport refrigeration unit installed. This time is front-mounted pickup/light truck refrigeration unit C300FB for Nissan pickup NP300.

Nissan NP300 pickup is commonly seen in Mesoamerica for its mobility and functional versatility. This single cab type enables more area left for cargo container. With max payload of 1,359kg, it is a perfect pickup used for reefer pickup. Since C300FB is an electric pickup refrigeration unit, it’s needless to install and connect compressor. That means Mr. Sebastián and his guys neither need to spend time and energy to moil under bonnet nor dismantle driving cab to arrange wires and hoses. Besides, C300FB featuring continuous operation without vehicle engine on enables client to save more fuel and cost for his small business. After having knowledge of shorter waiting time for installation and cost-effectiveness of C300FB, client agreed to deploy C300FB for his pickup.

Container size is 6 m³, original vehicle voltage 12 V, and output current of vehicle alternator is larger than 100A, these specs are also important factors deciding compatibility between pickup and all-electric transport refrigeration unit C300FB.

Onsite test result is reached temperature -4.8℃ and this meet the demand of the client though what he transports with reefer pickup is unkown.
