Corunclima has launched the industry’s largest cooling capacity battery APU for electric trucks. The K50BS model delivers up to 15,000 BTU (4.4 kW) of cooling—matching diesel APU performance while operating entirely on battery power.

Featuring a high airflow rate of 1000 m³/h, the APU can quickly cool sleeper cabs in extreme heat. Its heavy-duty DC electric scroll compressor is supported by lithium battery packs, enabling 10–12 hours of continuous cooling with zero emissions and near-silent operation.

By eliminating engine idling, fleets can reduce fuel costs and comply with anti-idling regulations, all while enhancing driver comfort and safety. Built for longevity with up to a 10-year service life, this high-capacity APU supports the shift toward cleaner, more efficient long-haul trucking.
